Sneak Peak : Pecha Kucha Columbus
November 9, 2010 § Leave a comment
I’m speaking at the Wexner Center tomorrow night for the 15th Columbus Pecha Kucha event. What is Pecha Kucha? Well, it’s a Japanese presentation format where the speaker gets 20 slides for 20 seconds each. Pecha Kucha events are meant to showcase big ideas and innovation in design, technology, and culture while fostering a sense of community.
What am I speaking about? My presentation is called Connecting Women to Capital, it’s inspired by a proposal authored by whip-smart ECDI Development Director, Amy Szabo, and it features a doctored version of the image below.. Beyond that, you’ll have to get yourself to the performance space at the Wexner Center.
Local musicians Hairplane, a set by DJ Scott Vayo, and tasty refreshments by Taste of Belgium (ECDI client!) following the presentations. It was a Columbus Alive staff pick this week, so don’t miss it!
